The AIS-2-USB Receiver is a low cost Dual Channel Parallel AIS Receiver specifically designed for use with a Laptop/PC.

  • Two AIS receivers monitor both AIS channels simultaneously.
    • Unlike many AIS receivers that claim to be dual channel the AIS-2-USB is a true parallel AIS receiver, ensuring that you receive the most up to date positions and information of all vessels around you.
  • Powered via the USB port
  • It is simple to install.
    • Connect a VHF antenna to the rear socket, plug the unit into your USB socket, install the USB drivers supplied on the CD and the unit is ready to receive AIS transmissions from vessels within VHF range.

The AIS-2-USB provides a small vessel with:

  • A low cost method of monitoring the position, speed and heading of other vessels within VHF range.
  • Reception from both Class A and Class B vessels, plus Aids to Navigation.
  • Power and data though the single USB port – no other cabling required.
